Douglas J. Zogby, CPCU
Before starting his consulting practice, Got Game Consulting, Doug Zogby had spent 25 years in the Property and Casualty insurance industry, holding numerous senior management positions in marketing, underwriting and operations. Throughout his management career, Doug has focused on the benefits of using Game Theory as a strategic management tool.
Doug graduated from the State University of NY. He has earned his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, and is an active member of the local and national CPCU organization. In addition, Doug teaches CPCU courses to aspiring CPCU candidates in the Phoenix area. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the Ford School, Phoenix College and serves as an advisor on the college’s Business Advisory Committee.
Doug is an accomplished speaker and continues to practice his craft through his membership in Toastmasters International, where he has achieved the prestigious Competent Toastmaster (CTM) Designation. He has presented to groups from ISPI (International Society for Performance Improvement), CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters), BOMA (Building Owners Management Association) APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) and the State of Arizona Department of Adult and Juvenile Probation. Doug has also appeared as a frequent guest on the John Adam Show addressing his Game Theory in Business and Generational Workplace Transition platforms as an expert commentator. His guest appearance grew into a spot as a weekly contributor to the John Adam Show through his “Talkin’ Bout the Generations” expert segment every Friday morning. Doug has also appeared on CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Talk Radio.
Doug is a Past President of the Arizona Chapter of The Institute of Management Consultants for 2009 and served on the national organizing committee for IMC’s National Conference for 5 years. Doug is also highly regarded as a source for expertise in his field. He has been used as a contributing source for an article on generational issues in the health care field published in “Your Health Monthly”, a national health magazine. In addition, he has been utilized as an expert source for articles on business topics in “The Business Journal”.
Doug also maintains membership and is active in the following associations; The Institute of Management Consultants, The International Society for Performance Improvement, The Game Theory Society and The Independent Film Project of Phoenix.
In April of 2011, Doug launched Zogby Entertainment, a production company supporting the efforts of independent filmmakers and creators of entertainment both nationally and internationally. Doug is currently working towards his Masters of Science Degree in Management through Boston University.
